...I expect the same and want to believe the best about the people that I deal with on a day to day basis...
...Unfortunately, this has not been my experience...
...This is disapointment!!!
...My experience has been, that the people that you try to help the most, are the ones that will turn on you the quickest...
...It has been my curse to have way too many of these folks hanging around like leeches, sucking the life blood out of me!
...Don't get me wrong, there are a PRECIOUS FEW that remain loyal and "ALWAYS FAITHFUL!" These ar rare, precious, and as valuable as diamonds...
...I am blessed to have a few of these people in my life!!!
...OK...What is prompting this particular rant?
...I recently bought one of my Taxi competitors company back in Sept. October 2011.
...For A tidy sum of money I got her clients which according to her was about 400 college students and a half dozen Native Kalamazoo residents mostly Visually Impaired Folks or medically challenged whereby I would agree to provide their rides at a substantial discount (Her Prices) which I agreed until The first of the year 2012...I did!
...I also got a broke down mini van Valued at a $100.00 and this vehicle is still at my mechanics awaiting a minimum of $1600.00 worth of repairs...
...She also asked me if I would give her a job driving for GodSpeed Part Time so she could help make the transition for my new clients a little smoother and she also needed the money!
...Being the nice guy that I am and in the name of helping a person that called herself my friend...I truly did count her as a friend...
...She claimed to be really hurting and down on her luck and did not have the ability to keep her company going anyways...
...So, I am a soft hearted person who has always tried to be there for Lynette whenever she has called upon me for help...
...I have responded to her sooooo manyyyy times from tragedy to tragedy, praying for her and her loved ones in death, house fires, sickness, injury, parenting issues with her teenagers and children etc. etc. etc...
...I even let her dispatch for my taxi company and gave her a much better lease deal on driving my best and biggest cab...A far better deal than the rest of my drivers out of respect for her being a former taxi company owner...
...No matter though...It was never enough and she always complained that she was somehow being screwed..."GO FIGURE!"
...This girl thinks the whole universe revolves around her and her needs, wants, and desires...She is never wrong, is always right, and justified in every situation!
...This girl has a dark cloud over her life...A true "DRAMA QUEEN!" In every sense of the word...If I had a dollar bill for every time I heard her say,
..."I don't know why all this bad stuff always happens to me? I am not a bad person?"
...I would be rich!
The other day, I finally had enough, I reached my limit,...The straw that broke the camels back was...
When my day dispatcher (Rusty) came in on Saturday morning and I commented that we had had a good night!
...Rusty Informed me that Lynette didn't think so cuz she posted on her FaceBook page that she was tired of getting screwed on the gas...
...I came un-glued! I asked him to pull up her page for me and sure enough...Live and in living color was Lynette's face with a post that stated that she was so tired of being screwed on the gas in my van and that if it wasn't for her (MY) college students she would Quit!...
Two things> I paid her good money for those college students when they would of probably wound up as our clients anyways because she no longer had the vehicles or the means to service their transportation needs...
Secondly> She is the only night shift driver that did not have to pay for all the gas on her friday and saturday night shift. I paid for half of it...
...The night in question she reported that she booked in excess of $200.00 and turned in a gas receipt for $34.00 which means she only spent $17.00 in gas for 120 miles driving...
...approx 5 gallons of gas is what she actually paid for out of her pocket while the rest of my night drivers paid $40.00 to $60.00 for gas...
...When Rusty realized how mad I was over her posting those inappropriate remarks on the internet...attacking my integrity, accusing me of screwing her over when I had bent over backwards trying to help her out...
...He asked me, to please not out him to Lynette for telling me about her facebook post...
...As you can Imagine, I changed Lynette's lease deal to the same as the rest of my drivers...When she showed up for her Sat. Night shift she was informed that she would have to pay for all of her gas on weekends like everybody else as well as our dispatch fee's...
...She wasn't happy about it but went out anyways.
She began to make demands on my new dispatch trainees snapping at them being rude and even screamed at Aaron Telling him that she was not taking anymore orders from him that she would only respond to Clinton Cuz she was also mad at Kelly too!
...Kelly, My office Mngr informed me of the ongoing drama and I informed her to tell Lynette to bring her Cab back into the office...
...I was sick and tired of her disrespect and constant drama and was going to give her the rest of the night off...
She broght my cab back alright, without filling up the gas or dropping her lease money for the night (Imbezzlement!) and Quit!
As you might imagine...She got back on facebook and posted that she had been fired because she has a hearing impairment...She has a blue tooth in her ear for Christ's sake...Her ability to hear my dispatchers had nothing to do with it! She was brought in for the night for being Rude and disrespectful. (Insubordination)!
...Two days later, I am informed by the owner of another Cab company in town that Lynette was applying for a position with their company and that she would be willing to sell her large list of college students to them as well if they hired her...
(Can anyone say Fraud? Larceny? Imbezzlement?)
She signed a no compete agreement with us!
I am sure this isn't over with yet?
I must say that I am not surprised anymore by anything that some people do to me, especially when I have always been a good and faithful friend to them.
...I would also like to add that in my heart, I still care about Lynette and her family...I am at peace with the fact that I kept my word and fulfilled all my obligations in our contract in regards to our business deal whereby I bought Lynette's Limo. I performed at every level of our agreement. I was professional and a man of my word!
...On a personal and spiritual note...I have no hate in my heart towards her. God's word commends me to forgive, extend grace and forgiveness, and not to seek revenge or retribution for any wrongs that I may have suffered...On the contrary God says that as believers we will be defrauded and suffer wrong and to receive it graciously and willing without exhibiting malice of any kind and by His grace I hope to be obedient to His blessed admonition...
...Lynette and family I love you in the Lord and wish you no Ill will....

Family/Business Plan Additional Info!

...If you want to just invest immediately, per my recent conversation with April and Tyler, I proposed a possible scenario that would just be an investment opportunity to create a savings in Gold and would also allow each family member to actually participate, and be vested in a real way in our present family business...
...1. Purchase a vehicle or provide a vehicle to be used as a Taxi Cab, Limo, or Party Bus... Whereby, That vehicles net profit will be tracked and 10% per month will be escrowed in an account with each family members name that participates and every quarter that amount of money escrowed is tallied and used to purchase actual Gold in your name to be used as you see fit at a future time for retirement, college funds, or extreme emergencies.
...This is strictly an idea or concept that is in the planning stages at this time and your Mother and I are certainly open to any ideas or suggestions that you might have to tweak this or improve it in such a way as to make it a win win proposition for each of you personally as well as to improve the health and growth of our transportation company...
...The present Health of the company is good but our earning potential and marketing opportunities would be greatly enhanced with the addition of more units/vehicles on the road. We do not presently have enough vehicles to keep up with the volume of business that presents itself to us daily so their are significant amounts of cash being left on the table for our competitors to scoop up.
... The way this works is that we have the business to justify the expansion of our fleet, and growth in cash flow increases exponentially with each unit added to our marketplace...

Top Secret Business Plan
Dear Family,
This is my ideas and I believe Divine Inspirations, I also believe that these ideas are just plain old good and ingenius Plans for making all of us who choose to participate a lot of money...The more family members that actively get involved, the faster and more likely we are to be successful.
No matter, whether you choose to participate or not, Your Mothers and my motivation in all that we have spent our lifes energy and time doing has been to provide and benefit our children, grandchildren.
Our Company is currently set up as an LLC Owned By Your Mother and I,
... with all our family members set up as beneficiaries in a living trust to have all of the assetts divided by percentages as designated and outined in the trust documents and our wills upon our Deaths.
The company is currently solvent and Debt free. The only money owed is month to month week to week operating expenses.
We are in the home stretch of our lives so to speak and we are ready to go home any time God so chooses to take us...But we are in no hurry LOL...
...The point is, we are OK! We dont need any of y'all to bail us out of any difficulties...It would be extremely satisfying to leave this life though knowing that we had raised our children well and that we had helped them to be financially secure...
...And to answer a Question already raised...No one else in the family has any Liabilities tax or otherwise related to Godspeed Trans...Upon our deaths though as things stand now, the Executor of our estate would be responsible for settling our affairs.
...Kids Ultimately, whether y'all want to believe it or not all of our lives are under the providence of the Almighty! I Would like to assure Aimee and Alan that Alan will be included upon their lifetime committment in holy Matrimony. No Better time than Valentines day 2012 for Aimee's Dad and Mother to give our Blessing If Alan would seek it and Promise to be the Husband and Father that her and the boys so richly deserve and need.
Hurt them...and I will have to introduce you to my little friend...LOL....Seriously though!!!
Without divulging my actual plan I would like to say that my immediate 5 year plan/goal in brief is to be the largest transportation provider Taxi/Limo company in south western Michigan...
...I believe we are on track to accomplish that goal!
...My philosophy is to do this debt free and allow the Market/Business to justify the expansion...
...My 10 year goal is for the GodSpeed Brand and plan to be able to be transplanted into multiple locations and markets throughout the country...
...This is only the tip of the iceberg...My ideas will carry us into a global market place...via the internet and social networks, the entertainment industry etc...
...History has taught us that the right ideas, plans and appropriate marketing has made vast fortunes in the .com markets and the transportation business and the GodSpeed brand will be the vehicles (Pun Intended) to take us to that multi millionaire level...
Face book, Twitter, Utube, etc. are perfect examples of what I am talking about...
We have to dream big in order to succeed big, with God's blessings it will be so... Amen!

a. If memory serves me correctly??? All of us have been attempting to be financially successful through many different attempts at jobs, schemes, businesses, education, working for other masters, and none of us have made it yet. A wise Man once said,
"That a house divided will not stand!"
"A one cord Strand is easily broken, but a three cord strand is not easily broken!"
I will give this to you guys in pieces as time and energy allows...we will take it slow and it will be a family collective collaboration...At some point the actual nuts and bolts details will be done in a different forum and we will take this stuff down after everyone has had a chance to review it. you may want to print this for future use.

Without divulging my actual plan I would like to say that my immediate 5 year plan/goal in brief is to be the largest transportation provider Taxi/Limo company in south western Michigan...
...I believe we are on track to accomplish that goal!
...My philosophy is to do this debt free and allow the Market/Business to justify the expansion...
...My 10 year goal is for the GodSpeed Brand and plan to be able to be transplanted into multiple locations and markets throughout the country...
...This is only the tip of the iceberg...My ideas will carry us into a global market place...via the internet and social networks, the entertainment industry etc...
...History has taught us that the right ideas, plans and appropriate marketing has made vast fortunes in the .com markets and the transportation business and the GodSpeed brand will be the vehicles (Pun Intended) to take us to that multi millionaire level...
Face book, Twitter, Utube, etc. are perfect examples of what I am talking about...
We have to dream big in order to succeed big, with God's blessings it will be so... Amen!
I am totally serious about this and would like to have a family gathering to discuss the details of our plan...

"TAXI TALES" ...Mechanic Tribulations...
"HONEST COMPETENT MECHANICS???"
One of the most highly sought after service industry commodities in most of our Lives to day is a Good, Fair, Fast, Efficient, and most importantly "HONEST" Car Mechanic?
Especially if your business is Transportation/ Taxi Cabs!
...Is there such a place or such a person that meets that need or fulfills that all important criteria?
...I reckon that most anybody can stand in the middle of most business districts in just about every city, town or village in America, throw a rock in every direction and hit a shop that claims to perform these services, pay anywhere from $75 to $150 an hour for labor with 75 - 100% mark up on parts.
...More often than not we walk away from these schisters swearing that never again will we have our pockets picked and our hard earned dollars wasted on shady, sketchy, scam artists.
...You know what I am talking about because unfortunately most of us have fell victim to these con artists.
....A good an honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold and when we find them, we will sing their praises to the high heavens, and will recomend them to all of our family, friends and associates.
...and before you know it... that business will be rewarded with more clients than they can keep up with...They have to hire more help, expand their operations, and it can become exceedingly difficult to get your car fixed as quickly as you once did?
...Personally I am willing to put up with scheduling difficulties rather than feeling like I've been bent over, given a lube job without the common courteousy of a reach around...LOL!
...I can tell you this about myself and our Family Business, although I am far from being perfect or anything close to it...
...As a True Christian, things like Ethics, Honesty, Truth, Integrity, Fair Play, going the extra mile to do the right thing are important values, concepts, and reputation, or a good report are part and parcel, tools of our trade.
That is why, at the end of the day, as much as that old nature, that human side of me that grew up in a tough and ugly neighborhood, that guy that wants paybacks...Is not the "GUY"
that I really want to be.
...Jesus told us to turn the other cheek and to rather suffer ourselves to be defrauded if necessary in order to be a good ambassador of justice and that which is right even though we are being wronged!
But Momma didn't raise no fool and Jesus also said to be wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove???
...Trust me when I tell you, I don't always act like a saint, There are times when I lose my temper and allow people to push my buttons to the point of making me mad enough to make a Preacher cuss $#^%*()*^#$.......!~
...In the Taxi Business we have to work real hard to overcome the common perception that a Cab Driver is out to rip you off and take you for the long ride around...
...More than a few times when I got into a conflict with a Fare over the price of their ride or they start in with that spiel about jacking up their fare...My response has been I am sorry that you feel that way and if I am unable to convince you otherwise?
...The ride is on the house I would rather give you a free ride than have you walk away feeling like I have robbed you...
...So you might ask yourself, what is this all about?
...Why go into all this? What are you trying to say?
...Current experiences inspire me or motivate me to kind of let it all out...
... work through my emotions, a sounding board if you will to get some feed back...
...To put some distance between my anger and frustrations before I act, rather than going off half cocked and doing and saying something that I will later regret...
...It can also serve a need to inform a reader to not go there, waste their time or money, or maybe encourage someone to support or patronize a business that is worthy of their hard earned dollars. To inform that this is someone you can trust, or not!!!
...I can tell you that I have found a great Mechanic whose shop I have spent thousands of dollars with over the past 2 years who has gone well above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions to service our vehicles...

...But the Jury is still out, although our deliberations appear to be coming back with an all too familiar conclusion...
...After 3 or 4 shots of letting Pete attempt to do the right thing and therefore earning our confidence and our business...
...All I am left with, is a feeling that this guy is unprofessional especially after leaving voice mails on my office managers phone filled with expletives, cussing, cursing and threats...
...I have already been overcharged for previous repairs that I paid...
... had unauthorized work performed on another vehicle...
... a ridiculous estimate given on a vehicle that needed some front end work, but was estimated an almost complete overhaul from front to back...
... And then presented with a ridiculous bill for the estimate,
...I have purposely left out the name of this business As I am not out to get paybacks or hurt the guy, Maybe if he reads this he'll have a change of heart or Philosophy on how to run an honest and successful business...
...A good cab company can be a great source of advertising for a good mechanic as we provide rides all the time for individuals who have just left there car at a shop to be repaired or take them back to pick up their vehicles after they have been repaired...
...Often times the conversation on the rides turns to a rant and rave session on all the horror stories over car repairs... experiences, and there by opening the door to pass along a good word of mouth reccomendation or a thumbs down on a mechanics shop.
...I have even passed out Matt's Business cards and Phone number out of our appreciation for his good work...

TRYING TO FIND MY WAY BACK HOME
....................NEVER ENDING STORY CONTINUED...TESTIMONY!.............
.......................MY LIFE AFTER CHRIST APRIL 12, 1981 A.D..........................

To all my loyal followers, which basically consists of mostly my family at this point, I will try and be more faithful in the telling of my story and HIS STORY which I know is basically our story from this point forward.
I am aware that it has been incredibly difficult to follow the history chronologically...
... and in order...
... because of my frenetic style of jumping back and forth from the past,
... to present day concerns and musings...
...I will try and help out by reminding you,
... I last left off, on the Post, dated 3/23/09,
... Titled, "TRIUMPH" The Rest of The Story! Part 3 Doug.
...I've already told the story several times, About Doug Tuttle's untimely Death, and the impact that His life and Death had on me...
... and how that event actually saved my life, and changed it, and my future / destiny forever.
I however, cannot say it too often, that Doug's Death was not in vain...
...His legacy has continued until this day and beyond in all of the lives that have been changed for all good and eternity...
...It was shortly thereafter on April 12, 1981, In Deridder Louisiana, at The Texas Avenue Baptist Church, I finally surrendered my old life, and sinful ways, to become that new creation, the Apostle Paul told us about, when we make Jesus Lord and Saviour of our lives!
... ONE OF THE ABSOLUTELY MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS OF MY LIFE!!!
...An amazing thing happened three weeks after I landed In Deridder Louisiana...
..................................... "I BECAME A CHILD OF GOD!"...................................
...I left my young wife and 2yr old daughter Aimee behind in Kalamazoo, while I tried to seek my fortune, find adventure, and escape the law, in the oilfields of Louisiana.... I lived, with my uncle Barry and the now suddenly Deceased, Doug Tuttle, 20 years young!!!
...We didn't know it at the time, Doug had been poisoned by "White lightning," He had shared a few sips of it with me that night, and by the grace of God... I didn't drink enough of it to do to me what it did to Doug a few hours later...
...Two blocks down the street, Ashamed, shy and very embarrassed, I walked into that Church a few minutes before the service was over...
... Sunday morning, April 12 1981, Palm Sunday as it turned out, last day of the revival meetings, at Texas Avenue Baptist Church...
...The Pastor,.... Hollis Roberts, was giving an invitation...
... to any who would,
to turn from their lost lives....
... to Jesus, the "Light of The World"...
...At That moment, I was transported, I seem to float down that center aisle...
...I "BEGGED" God, to forgive me all my wicked sins, and save my lost soul...
...I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, living as a slave to my addictions, and sick appetites...
...I wanted to be delivered, and I wanted to live a new and better life...
...Suddenly, the weight of the world lifted off of my grieving battered soul....
... and I was filled with inexplicable joy and happiness.
...I knew in my heart, and felt it in my body and soul....
...That my wicked, wretched, miserable, horrid slate, had been wiped clean.
...God heard my petition, and granted to me a new and better life.
...A life worth living...
...a life with a purpose...
... HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!
...I truly had been born again.!!!!
...Wow, was my bride ever surprised,... when she got that phone call later that afternoon!
...Her wild, crazy, dope dealing criminal of a husband called her and...
... Declared, that he was now a 100% Bonafide Jesus freak.
...Her life, and the life of our child were changed at that moment forever.
...God brought true REVIVAL to that little church that day.
...I was on fire for the Lord, and began to bring everyone I could,
to that same loving Savior, that so willingly, and freely accepted a poor and miserable wretch like me...
... The change in me was so drastic... my conversion experience,
was so dramatic, it was infectious,
contagious, just about everyone that was in the realm of my influence,
wanted what I had found.
That tiny Church, Baptized more new converts that year,
than they ever had in their history.
6 months later I surrendered to Gods call on my life to Preach the Gospel,
and Texas Avenue Baptist Church, Pastor Roberts, the deacons, elders and the members of that church examined me, and extended to me a license to preach and practice the Gospel Ministry of The Lord Jesus.
...Throughout my entire life up to this point on this day when I became officially recognized and commissioned by my Local Church and Sent forth by one of the largest Protestant Denominations in the world, The Southern Baptist Convention, Home of Such Spiritual Giants as Billy Graham and Charles Stanley, to name just a small few...
...Who would of Thunk It???
...What a foolish Prediction, assumption, or even an ambition on my part???
...Almost an impossible, unlikely dream!
...But isn't that just like our loving, and most gracious Heavenly Father?
I Cor. 1:25
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men," verse 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.

...In mine own eyes and I am sure, in the eyes of the rest of the world, the most foolish thing God ever did was to call out Michael Bowling Sr. to preach the greatest story ever told...
...I don't know if there has ever been a more flawed individual ever created under heaven, a person more unworthy and unlikely failure than myself???
...Surely God has made a terrible mistake and a foolish choice in this instance...
...The disappointments are too numerous to recount!
...Truly I know how the Apostle Peter and the other Disciples must have felt when they denied their Lord and ran off in His greatest hour of need...
...Oh yes, there has been many miracles and victories that took place because I started my race well...but now in my early Fifties I feel like the prodigal son...
...My greatest hope is that I might find my way back to that Loving Father with the ring and the robe and the fattened Calf...
...From April 12 1981 until now December 26 2011...
...There is a lot of "HIS" Story and too much of "MY" Story to be told...
...TAG ALONG AND WE WILL BOTH DISCOVER TOGETHER HOW THE REST OF THE STORY TURNS OUT???
